Spacing issues across same document, different saved locations - OneDrive and local - Word for the Mac 16.75

I am working on a document on Mac word version 16.75, there is two working copies one that is saved on my computer and one that I cut and paste and save on the OneDrive file (that is linked). When I copy and paste the document from the computer saved one to the OneDrive the spacing is a little off and sections are not matched across both papers - I am trying for calibri 12pt and 1.15 line spacing, I have looked at font -> advanced and both settings match across the two documents.

In Word on the web (the browser version), you have to switch to the Reading view to get an accurate representation of the document layout. This is a known limitation with Word on the web.

If you have a subscription version (Microsoft 365) of Office, you should be able to edit online documents using the locally installed Office applications.

This is almost over half a year old now and was a noted issue with administrators but all is good now.

Hi Charles,

I think that would be a little challenging on my part giving the sensitivity of the documents, but I did try to just make some samples of one saved locally and the other saved via one drive an didn't see any issues come about. It looks like I can maybe just make a new copy saved to one drive and the spacing issues gets resolved on first examination, but whether it holds time will tell.
