Hello,

We want to build an app to be listed in the Sharepoint store, so we can integrate our product into Sharepoint. We have received this advice:

  1. Prepare Your App: Align with Microsoft guidelines.
  2. Register: Sign up on the Microsoft AppSource – destination for business apps.1. Create a Listing: Describe your app’s features.1. Submit for review: Ensure quality and security.1. Go Live: Once approved, users can discover your apps.

How do we find the Microsoft guidelines?

How do we get access to a test environment to build the integration?

How do we create a listing?

We want to have an app here:

    Dear Adam Rose,

    Good day!!

I understand your concern and would like to share my knowledge on your requirement i.e., when you make an available in SharePoint store, the app will be available to all SharePoint Online users worldwide.

But, if you want only users in your organization be able to add the custom app to their SharePoint Online site, I suggest you to refer the section in this article: Manage apps using the Apps site (Section: Add Custom apps)

However, if you want the app to be added in the SharePoint Store only via AppSource, I suggest you to contact the related development team via creating a support ticket from the Office 365 admin center as the moderators in this community are limited with the knowledge on adding the custom app in SharePoint Online tenant or AppSource, where the related development team can guide you in the right direction.

Reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn

Note: To create a support ticket, you need to have admin privileges and if you aren’t the admin of your Office 365 organization, please contact the admin of creating a new ticket.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great weekend ahead!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
