You may need to use the Developer tab to access the checkboxes.

    .

To enable the Developer tab, go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon, and then check the box next to Developer in the right-hand pane. Once the Developer tab is enabled, you can find the checkboxes under the Insert section in the Controls group.

I have the same issue. SamehFarghali is referring to the Checkbox button (it says Cell Control below the button) next to the Comment button (it says Comments below the button) in the Insert Menu, not the Developer menu. I looked everywhere and could not find any information on this subject.

This new software hasn't yet been made available to the general public and there's no date yet as to when it will be available.

Thank you for the information. I also read other information on Microsoft 365 Insider page - https://insider.microsoft365.com/en-us/blog/simplify-data-entry-and-reduce-errors-with-checkboxes-in-cells. Under the Availability section at bottom of the page, it says "This feature is available to Beta Channel users running Version 2310 (Build 196924.2000) or later." What I don't understand is under Account / About Excel in my Excel, mine is Version 2311 (Build 17029.20038). I added Cell Control group to the Insert tab menu and it shows blank, no Checkbox button to click on.

    The current Production Version is:-

    2311 (Build 17029.20028 Click-to-Run)

Testing this Production Version I see no ability to add a, "Cell Control group to the Insert tab menu".
