Authenticator App Nightmare

I am completely locked out of my account. I have a small business, am the only user. There is no other admin. Microsoft decided to require me to start using the Authenticator App.

I download it, try to register. While in the Authenticator app it tells me I need to login to the authenticator app. If I click the Need another Method link, it reopens another Authenticator page presenting a 2 digit code.

I call phone support but asks me for a case. I I say I dont have one and it tells me to open it online. When I go to the link, it tells me to login, and then asks for the Authenticator code again.

This is beyond idiotic. Help!

    Thanks for the reply, but that is not the case. When I call support, they say I need to enter in a case ID. I can’t create a case, because it requires logging in which is not possible. Incredible.

    You may contact phone support for further assistance. While phone call, press "1" as a business email user and press "1" again as technical support. You also need to provide your subscription purchased information such as company name, billing information, phone number etc.
