MS365 Support Issues and Wait Times

This is getting ridiculous. I've been on the phone on hold for 60+ minutes. Can't do any other work while I sit on the phone. It's 2023, there's more efficient ways to handle callbacks and ticketing. I don't understand why it's so hard to get support with 365.

I try to avoid this by using all the self service tools in the first place but the password recovery sends an email to the email I don't have the password for. How does this make any sense. No option for SMS or other forms of validation. Took several hours trying phone support only to be told I can't speak to an agent because there's no phone number associated with my account (even though I registered and entered code sent to my phone for registration?). Can't do Chat or Email support because I have to login in order to get support which is my problem in the first place!!

I had to create a new email just to email post this! Not a good way to start my MS365 subscription.

If you are an admin may contact Technical phone support and ask them to escalate your issue to the data protection team. While phone call, press "1" as a business email user and press "1" again as technical support. You also need to provide your subscription purchased information such as company name, billing information, phone number etc.

Try connecting with Microsoft support on social media.
