Organization controls my computer

Hello,

Currently, when I open my computer I don't have access to certain settings or programs due to my organization controlling my computer. Now I've searched online and almost all sources say go into Settings > Accounts and so forth, the problem however is when I open settings I am only prompted with "System", "Network & Internet", "Personalization", "Ease of Access", "Search", and "Privacy". I initially thought uninstalling all Microsoft apps, and office off my computer would solve the problem but it didn't. I was able to however remove my organizations control over my google account by going into the Registry.

How I should I remove my organizations control when I don't have access to the "Accounts" tile in settings, and can't use the "Find a setting" search bar to pull it up because that is blocked to?

    Dear Dustan Scoggins,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

It sounds like your computer is managed by your organization, which means they have control over certain settings and programs. As a Microsoft customer support agent, I can only provide assistance with Microsoft products and services. However, I suggest reaching out to your organization's IT department or administrator for assistance with removing their control over your computer. They should be able to provide you with the necessary steps to regain control over your device.

At the same time, since your issue might be more related to OS or other system which your company used to control the computer, we do not have enough knowlege or resource to support on this issue. In this situation, we suggest posting your query on Questions - Microsoft Q&A. In this communnity, there are many experts who have high technical skills, I think you may get more useful information there!

Thanks for your time and your understanding would be highly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator
