Licensing question

We upgraded our licenses from E5 to E5 compliance but while working with Intune, we noticed that the Microsoft Intune Plan 1 and Azure Information Protection Premium P1 are not included in the license. Isn't compliance an upgrade?

    Dear Lisa Converse1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "Licensing question".

Yes, upgrading to E5 Compliance should include Microsoft Intune Plan 1 and Azure Information Protection Premium P1. However, it's possible that there was an error during the upgrade process or that the licenses were not properly assigned to your account.

I recommend contacting Microsoft support to investigate the issue and ensure that your licenses are correctly configured. They will be able to assist you with any billing or subscription-related queries as well. Refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs. Moreover, you may find the Contact phone supportby country or region and our Billing engineer will help look into this. They may ask for card details to help figure out what it is charged for and process refund if need.

For other concerns, please do not hesitate to add you post in the Microsoft Community Team.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

    Sincerely,

De Paul | Microsoft Community Moderator
