As an avid fan of Microsoft and its impressive array of products, I have been eagerly following the development of Microsoft Loop. The concept of a versatile collaboration tool has certainly captured my interest. However, as an aspiring developer and technology enthusiast, I must admit that I harbor a desire for an added feature in Loop – a code snippet feature.

Imagine the convenience and efficiency it would bring to the table. With the ability to insert and share code snippets seamlessly within Loop, the collaboration possibilities would be endless. Whether it's for programming projects, software development discussions, or even academic purposes, having a dedicated code snippet feature would elevate Loop to new heights.

This sentiment is widely shared within my college community, where students and faculty members alike are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to harness the power of Microsoft Loop with the inclusion of this valuable addition. We believe that such an enhancement would not only streamline our collaboration efforts but also align Loop with the evolving needs of the technology-driven world we live in.

I can only "create" a code snippet when pasting code from external sources, but I can't find any way to create a code snippet from scratch. It is not inside "/" options.

Furthermore, it is not possible to insert code snippets into tables nor bullets points (on the last one it is actually possible but with several bugs).

I hope you refine this feature soon, Loop is geeting interesting!

I had the same issue as reported by others in this thread. I've discovered that if you type ``` followed by the programming language and a space, it will create the component for you.

Ex. ```sql -> followed by a space will create a SQL code snippet.

You mention Ruby as a supported language for code snippets but I don't see it in the dropdown?
