I have started having issues with command buttons. Note the first image with the green command button. I normally get that outline when "Design Mode" is clicked. However, it is not in this first image. In the second image, the design mode IS activated and the outline of the green command button is as it should be at that point.
I cannot use any of the command buttons in this workbook.
How can I fix this?

Have you tried creating a new Command button to see if it works in the same file?
Before seeing your reply, I decided to do that. When I inserted a new ActiveX command button, it started with commandbutton1.
I have no clue what happened, but I have resolved the issue by creating all new command buttons this morning.
