#REF Error on SUMIF function

I am having an issue with the following SUMIF function =SUMIF(Summary!$C:$C,"P1*",Summary!$W:$W) I am trying to SUM column W on the summary sheet if column C starts with "P1", I am getting a #REF error when using that formula

    Alternatively, select column W on the Summary sheet, press f5, then click the Special.. button and choose Formulas and Errors:

    and press OK. Does it find anything?

    Can you just filter column C on the Summary sheet for text beginning with P1, then click the filter dropdown for column W and just double-check for #REF! in the item list?
