Referring to Forms definition on World-wide#Forms

Can you provide the cutover date that this rule changed for Australia?
I am aware that originally all Australian data was held in the United States.

The new arrangement states that Australian customer data will be stored at rest in Australia for 1. all new tenants and 2. existing tenants who had not previously used forms.

Am I correct in thinking that an organisation who is an existing tenant and had previously used forms - that their data will still be stored in United States?

    Dear LM,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, your understanding on the Forms data storage for the Australian tenants is right and to my search, this change came into the effect on October 15th 2022.

If you have any further concerns on this change, we suggest you connect with your IT admin of your organization and request them to create a new service request from the Microsoft, so that related development team from Microsoft Forms will connect with you and discuss further on your concerns. Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,
