I would like to post a question, in SharePoint list, some columns can't hide even I tried to hide under content type. May be those columns are metadata. The column names are "Hidden", "Hidden Template", "WSEnabled" and "Content Type". if anyone facing the same case as me, please let me know is that error or is there any way to hide those columns? Thank you.

options are disabled, can't choose and remove the column.

apologized situation you encountered, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

I read your query carefully couple of times and I do some test I am able to hide the columns by bellow method

About "hide column", if you don't want users to see it no matter in the list page or when creating new items, you can do it in this method.

    1) click "add column" and click "show or hide column", untick the column you doesn't want to display and save it.

    .

    1. click "New" to create a new item. In the right side pane, click "edit" icon >> edit columns >> untick the columns you don't want users to see when creating new item, save it.

    .

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated.

If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me.

    Have a nice day!

    Dear Su Myat,

Good day! Thank you for your reply to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Since my method didn’t work for you to further investigate the issue further can you confirm this Collom is a custom created by code level or the Collom you mentioned is created from SharePoint online? Can you give a exact method you used to crate the collom

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated.

If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me.

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Hi Sophia,

Thank you for reply. Actually, those columns are not manually created.

They are system columns, appeared after I changed "yes" to "Allow management of content types" option.

You can find those columns under "Item". I highlighted in below.

    Seeking your kind reply.
