Cannot revert back to Microsoft 365 Business Basic after Accidentaly Upgraded to Standard!!!!

Hi! I have 6x licenses for Microsoft Business Basic, which I paid for a year in September 2023.

Some weeks ago, while I was checking my MS 365 admin center to find out the pricing scheme for MS 365 Business Standard, without even a notice, my licenses were upgraded from Business Basic to Business Standard (6x licenses). I immediately tried to revert that since I don't need the Standard package, which is way more expensive, but there was NO downgrade or Cancel option. I created a ticket ASAP, and an MS ambassador contacted me without managing to fix it.

The same guy contacted me many times after this incident, reassuring me that he would take care of it (which he didn't). He mentioned that he could not revert me to my original program, that he talked to his supervisor, and that I wouldn't be charged for the program change!! I closed the ticket and two weeks after I got an invoice from MS for the Business Standard licenses upgrade, which I didn't want at the first place!!! I created a new ticket, and for a week now, NOBODY has contacted me, although the case is assigned to an agent!!!

I got an email today telling me that tomorrow, I will lose access to our business emails!! How crazy is that?? I just want the program I paid for, I do not need the Business Standard which I don't know how was activated at the first place!

Make sure that you have assigned the license to your mailbox and paid for the subscription. In the meantime, you may contact phone billing support for further assistance. See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/get-help-support?view=o365-worldwide#phone-support
