Not quite sure but when I add a new row it is not automatically included? I have to resize the table,
not sure what done,

so until yesterday if i added something to bottom it would be included , not any more?

I did have to make some changes in options, and may have checked / unchecked something by mistake.

selecting cell below and hitting tab

No this is wrong; you need to click in the cell in your new screen shot that contains the letter:-

    a

    • and then hit the TAB key.

    Got it now?

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19957206/excel-table-not-expanding-when-new-data-is-added If you had formulas or something that got copied down below the bottom of the table, now you're not "adding" new data below and so the table will not dynamically expand. Make sure to clean up any garbage below the table and this should restore functionality.
