Shared Excel Workbook returning Upload Failed Error for some users

Hello,

My company is using a shared excel workbook in SharePoint which requires input from multiple people in multiple departments. It contains macros as well. Some users are getting the "Upload Failed - something went wrong and we were unable to overwrite the existing file" error, and are not able to see the most up to date information, which means they cannot update the workbook either. What could be causing this error for some users and not others?

    Dear respected RB_356,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

I’m sorry you’re having a problem and for the situation you encountered, we deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

As per your description, recently, we received reports from other community members that they encounter the same situation (Upload Failed).

Considering that different users from different organizations are experiencing the same issue, I'm afraid this issue could be a temporarily server-side issue which needs to be investigated and fixed from back end.

In this situation, I believe the problem should be further investigated by the related development team via collecting HAR logs because there is not any related service incident reported at the Microsoft Service Health dashboard.

I do feel regret for not resolving the problem and redirecting you to the related development team but the fix to your concern can be find out through the HAR logs and suggest you raise a support ticket from the Office 365 admin center, where the related team will investigate the problem further by collecting the HAR logs.

Please accept my Apologies for redirecting you to the related team support as the moderators in this community have limited resources to check the backend information, and to get the fast and better assistance we requested for it.

I'm sorry and I apologize for that.

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
