import xls table into Loop

I want to import data from a xls table into loop.

I would like to have it as loop component as we use the data in different documents and 3 users need to have access.

I do not want to insert the link of the existing file due to access rights to that source.

I tried to add a table" /table" and copy/pasted the xls content. But the table is getting too wide and I loose oversight (20 columns, 20 rows.)

What are my options? I can't change the table layout size?

    Hey Nikole,

    While loop seems to not have a way to import the data from excel => Loop to my knowledge you could try creating a second excel sheet and just have each cell of the new sheet reference a cell in the old sheet. For cell A1 you could do "=Sheet1!A1". Then copy that formula for the size of your data. That way the new document references the original and maintains freshness, but it doesn't give direct access to the original sheet. you could then link the new sheet.

    Best,

    Josh

    If it's any help.

    What I did was the following:

    1 - I created a local database and imported the data from excel

    2 - The GUI I use that starts with "D" and ends "Beaver" allows me to export the data in Markdown.

    3 - Copy and Paste to Loop and understands that it is to form a table

    This feature does not exist. Can you please update or remove. I spent 10 minutes looking for this feature, waste of my time. Loop is supposed to make me more productive.

    After trying these suggestions without success. I decided to try coping + pasting all the cells in my Excel sheet into Loop. No '/table' or anything. Just onto a blank page. And it worked!
