Im ttying to help someone who was logged out of an old hotmail account. Forgot their password, and to verify th account is being sent codes to the wrong phone number. How can i help?

Forgot Hotmail password, can't verify codes for new password because I no longer have that number.(helping a friend with an inquiry not me personally)

I think due to security reasons it will be difficult to request help for someone else's account. We have a different forum where these issues are supported. You can contact us for support using the form or access the Microsoft Answers Community who can help you further .
