I have the same question. I have the same need as OP, I have columns that I do not want to hide, I want the column title to wrap.
How do I wrap text in the Header Row of a list in Microsoft Lists?
I am using MS Lists as a checklist for onboarding documentation for our company. However, I have a LOT of items in the header row, and therefore I can't see all the text. How do I wrap the text or make the header row taller so that I can see all my fields clearly? See screenshot below. The header row I'm referring to is the row in white.

This should be basic stuff.
This is needed in order to convince other co-workers to use MS Lists.
Truncated column descriptions in 2024....
Also, cannot shorten the first column (title) even though it is one digit.... come on.
