As it is the same Edge version but different users have different performances, we believe it is not related to the Edge update. And it is not happening to all users, hence it is not SharePoint backend updates as well. It looks more likely to be related to a Windows system problem. - You may try removing the recent Windows update and see if the issue can be resolved.
- Kindly change to a different Windows profile and check the problem
- You may consider re-installing the Windows system to a different version.
