How to remove an Excel Add-In in 365?

I am trying to find how to remove an Excel Add-in that is installed from the Add-ins menu or the MS AppSource site.

Here I am using ChatGPT for Excel as an example. I just click Add and it is installed and working. However how to I remove it.

The add-in does not show up in any of the add-in screens or in Add or remove programs or any other place I could find.

I did find that with the recent update for Excel 365, I can right click on the Add-in in the ribbon and select Remove Add-in.

However, such an option does not exist in even slightly old 365 builds. Most of my colleagues do not have the same version I do and cannot find a way to remove this or other add-ins they tried.

How can I find an remove any of the newer style Add-ins from any version of 365?

Is the Mac in a corporate/organization environment? If so, installing & removing add-ins may be prohibited by the IT admins.

Another straw to grab at: does the user account signed in on the Mac have admin privileges?

Snow had it right. Here's the same advice with more screen shots:

1. Click the AddIns button on the Home tab of the Ribbon. In the resulting menu, choose More Add-Ins

In the resulting Office Add-ins dialog, choose My Add-ins

In the resulting Office-Add-ins dialog, Select the add-in you wish to remove. Click the 3 dots and then choose Remove.

***EASIEST WAY TO REMOVE ADD-INS PERMANENTLY***

1. Click on "File"
2. Click "Get Add-ins", then at the bottom, you will see "MANAGE MY ADD-INS", click on it.
3. You will see your installed add-ins. Click the 3-dots > REMOVE.
