Authenticator app is not producing a code

I recently had my phone stolen out of my work truck and had to purchase a new phone. On my new phone I installed the Authenticator app and selected a work account and logged in via my email. (Same email used on the prior phones app) it will not produce a 2fa code once it’s signed in. Originally on my old phone the as soon as you opened the app it had a randomly generated code for me to sign into my vpn and other things. The code would regenerate every 30 seconds. Now signed in on the new device it is not giving me a code. I’m assuming it is still generating on the old device however that device was remotely erased. What do I do?
