I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

Thank you!

Hi Hannah, thank you for your reply.

I have already completed the steps you mentioned. The option on the copilot service is to manage the recurring billing, and it's already turned off. However, the copilot on my Word is still active.

Is there any other way to uninstall or deactivate the copilot from Word?

    Regards,

    Bubud

    Hi, bubuds.

I understand that your copilot service has been turned off, but copilot is still active. Based on your description above, this could be a result of unsynchronized information, for this case, we suggest you manually uninstall the office suite and then re-download it to see if things are new:

    1. log in to Microsoft account | Services & subscriptions
    2. Click on “Services & Subscriptions” on the left navigation bar (below)
    3. Find the Microsoft 365 product and click Download

Feel free to share updates with me on how things are progressing after you've completed the aforementioned steps.

This has not worked on MacOS Sonoma. I think it very poor that this software is so difficult to remove.

There is no "manage" button to click on for Copilot! on the Subscriptions Page!
