How to disable copilot on microsoft office (excel, word, ppt) on Macbook

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

Thank you!

Regarding: How to disable MS Copilot from MS 365. I tried your instructions, but after clicking "Services and Subscriptions", I am not seeing "copilot on the right side" (on my Services and Subscriptions" page) to disable. If helpful, the top of my Services and Subscriptions page implies that I am using "Microsoft 365 Personal". Thank you for any clarification how I can disable MS Copilot from my MS 365 subscription. ******@hotmail.com

Just to say, I have the same issue. PLEASE advise how we can remove this annoying new add-on asap, Microsoft. NOTHING is visible 'on the right' on the Services and Subscriptions page of my account – the only option anywhere (naturally) is an upgrade to paid Bloatware-BS – sorry, I mean Copilot.

I have exactly the same issue: have signed in, went to Services and subscriptions and no sign anywhere of 'copilot on the right side' to disable. It takes a huge amount to otherwise productive time to get rid of these annoying, distracting and uncalled for add-ins! Please Microsoft stop doing this to users.

I also want to know how to get rid of this total BS that I never asked for or ever wanted. FFS it's a giant Fkin circle of absolute BS. It's not in services and subscriptions or even settings. I have a Mac and would like it completely removed. It's Cancer. Who ever comes up with this **** should move to Antarctica and forced to live there naked. I'm at my limit with devices and their apps now. Everything is either ads or new and absolute-butchered-****.

Jumping on the bandwagon here - MacOS Sonoma. I have never added copilot as a trial service, but it appeared today (I assume after an update) in all my Microsoft apps. There's no setting in individual app preferences to turn it off, and other than my Microsoft 365 Family subscription, there's nothing in "Services & Subscriptions". Ironically there is an ad offering me copilot pro...

This is incredibly frustrating as I don't want any AI in my software, but my immediate issue is that a huge copilot logo appears next to every line when I move my cursor or start typing, it's exceedingly distracting.
