Microsoft Loop - no longer able to add links to documents?

I seem to only be able to add pages instead of links to other documents within Loop today. Did something change? There used to be a + button that existed that gave you an option to add a page or add a link. The link would then be able to go to a Word Doc or Excel, etc. Now I just see an X and no option to add a link.

Over the last few days, it looks like the Loop Dashboard just reformatted and the + sign that used to be located after the Workspace title is simply moved over to the far left... circled below.

I swear I spent way too long looking for it and I believe there was a delay in getting the options uploaded correctly under that drop down menu. But its there now.

I'm trying to do this too but for some reason the links I add only are going to a workspace I created, not the shared one that I want it to go to. Is there some trick for making sure the link goes to the right workspace?

Are you getting the link from the document either that is saved on your desktop / uploaded to Sharepoint OR from the web version?

Then adding it as a link in Loop?

It's a share link from Sharepoint. Instead of appearing in this active workspace it's going to the inactive Internal Training workspace.

Hi there - I figured out when this is happening, and would be happy to screenshare with anyone trying to troubleshoot on the MS side

Within a workspace, it only says add new page, if you have tabs open in a workspace, you have to collapse them all and THEN use the + button to add a link, but then you have to move that link into the workspace you want it to go into.

Prior version of this was better from a user experience standpoint, not a fan of the change.
