Power Query not refreshing in Excel Online

I am having trouble with refreshing Power query in Excel Online when my workbook is stored in SharePoint. The power query in my excel is retrieving data from public folder and performing various transformations and loaded as table.

"COULDN’T REFRESH DATA This workbook contains Power Query queries using data sources that can't be refreshed in Excel for the Web." this is the error I am getting when I refresh.

    I have some Power Queries that update separate sheets in the same workbook and then some Pivot Tables and Charts that use the data from the Power Queries. The workbook is saved in OneDrive.

    Excel Online says

    COULDN’T REFRESH DATAPower Query queries in Excel for the Web can’t be refreshed in workbooks saved in a third-party cloud location.

    And

    This workbook contains external data connections or BI features that are not supported

    The data is in the same workbook as a table and saved in OneDrive.

    So why can't I refresh the Power Query?
