Which version are you on?
Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2405 Build 16.0.17628.20006) 64-bit
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
After upgrading to Excel version 2403, the drill-through functionality on pivot tables connected to PowerBI semantic models stopped working. We get the following error message:
"RETURN clause cannot be used with DRILLTHROUGH statement when a DetailRows expression is already defined on the measure X"
Please advise how to mitigate this (except for downgrading the Excel version). Thank you.

I will raise it to related team. Hope Microsoft will fix it soon.
Thanks Snow Lu! I did just get a call back from the Office 365 support team they appear to be working on it now. I did send them the link to this page too
My users are facing the same issue rolling back Excel to previous version is the band aid for now. As the Global Admin of my 365 Tenant I tried opening a ticket in the Admin center but told they were just break fix support. I was just given some links to unified support and told to try that. Worse I got another call back from a different support person who told me he would send the ticket to the office 365 support team. A few minutes later i got an email from the second support person saying "Our information shows that this issue is out of scope, and we have no option to transfer it to the right team." I also tried to contact support within Excel and was told that since am an admin that I should open a ticket from the 365 Admin center. So i am now reduced to ranting on the forums hoping this gets fixed in the next update. ****
I'd suggest you raise it to Microsoft directly for such bug. Hope Microsoft will fix it soon.
