Microsoft Forms File Upload fail Android

Hi!

I have made a Microsoft Form, where a file is always required in the answer.

However some users are having trouble uploading the file.

And when I tested it on a Samsung S22 Ultra, Android phone, in Edge Browser, it seems like sometimes it fails on the first upload try, but not always.

I'm wondering is this a known bug or is it something I could have done wrong? The file and a date, are the only two required answers out of a few more, the user need to be logged in to answer.

Thank You for Any Answers! 🙂

Dear Hanna R,

Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and I would like to convey that I have tested the behavior at my end by submitting the responses of the a Microsoft Form with the Upload File type question and two other questions which are required on the multiple Android devices with both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browser, where I am able to successfully upload the files into the Upload File Type question without any issue.

Since you mentioned the multiple internal users are having the same issue intermittently, I believe the problem should be further investigated by the related development team, where they can collect the required logs for doing the further investigation because I have checked the service health dashboard at the Microsoft end, where there is no related incident found.

So, I request you to connect with your IT admin of your organization and raise a new service request from the Microsoft 365 admin center so that the related development team will connect with you and investigate the issue further.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!
