Hi Everyone,

Would using a Graph API query within a Workflow created in Teams using premium HTTP connectors with the query using an App registered in Azure AD, lead to any additional costs or is it all covered in Microsoft 365 E5 license ?

Hello Markus Wavey,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Using a Graph API query within a Workflow created in Teams with premium HTTP connectors, where the query uses an App registered in Azure AD, would not lead to any additional costs if you have a Microsoft 365 E5 license.

The Microsoft 365 E5 license includes the necessary Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow) Premium features, which are required to use premium connectors in Workflows. However, if the Workflow is accessed by "run-only users" who do not have a Premium Power Automate license, they would need to have a Premium license in order to use the premium connectors in the Workflow. Types of Power Automate licenses - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.Additionally, if the Workflow is triggered by a button, a new connection will be created for every user, and they would all need a Premium license to use the premium connectors. Reference: Power Platform Community (microsoft.com).In summary, as long as you have a Microsoft 365 E5 license, the use of a Graph API query within a Workflow created in Teams using premium HTTP connectors, where the query uses an App registered in Azure AD, would be covered and not lead to any additional costs.

I hope the above information will help. For more specific details about charges and costs, please contact our direct support team. They will be able to provide you with the information you need.
