The Excel Microsoft Query menu option has disappeared.

The Microsoft Query option that used to be under "Get Data/From Other Sources" has disappeared. I can edit existing queries by right clicking on the query table, but I can no longer create new queries without the Microsoft Query option. I have tried repairing Office 365 but it is still not there. I have 64 bit Office. I recently downloaded Power BI desktop and used Power Query, could this have something to do with my Microsoft Query option disappearing from Excel?

    This worked for me:

Options > Data > Check the 'From Microsoft Query (Legacy)" box

Then its under Get Data > Legacy Wizards

Microsofts infinite wizdom and constant need to make everyone do things the way they want have moved one of the most commonly used functions in Excel to "Legacy". Yes you can add these as others described but WHY! I am so tired of big corps dictating how we use the product we purchased.

This is bug for newest version. From Microsoft Query option is missed.

You may rollback office update as workaround.
