Multiple Upload Users Error "Failed to insert user."

why do I get an error "Failed to insert user." when uploading multiple users?

Thanks for the update, It sounds like you’ve hit the directory object quota limit for your Azure Active Directory (AAD) tenant. This limit restricts the number of directory objects (like users, groups, and devices) that can be created within your tenant.

It will require technical depth to increase the quota for your tenant and we suggest raising a service request with Microsoft Azure team to help check the quota and way forward for your tenant. IF you do have the global Admin privileges, please access the Azure admin portal and raise service request directly from there to the Azure team to handle the issue.

Access the Admin center >Identity >New support request >Issue type should be technical and service type is Microsoft Entra Directories and domains and problem subtype should be Users.

I tried to add 1 user, and i got this message:

"The directory object quota limit for the Tenant has been exceeded. Please ask your administrator to increase the quota limit or delete objects to reduce the used quota."

I have permanently deleted groups and users. What else should I do? How can i resolve this?

There were 69 names in the csv file that I uploaded. Only 42 users were created. Then, I re-uploaded the 27 names and only 9 were made. After this, I tried to re-upload the rest of the list. Until now, I was not able to create users.

It sounds frustrating to encounter the “Failed to insert user” error when trying to upload multiple users. This issue can often be caused by a few common problems.

My we inquire which of the method you using to upload the users please, does it work fine when you upload only one user or few users, please.

How many users are being uploaded loaded please, if you are using CSV file format, could you please check if it's similar to this please, make sure no special characters

Use above format and try upload the users again an let us know if it works successfully.
