    Dear Wing,

Good day! Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. We are here to assist you.

I'm sorry to hear about your missing document. Let's try a few steps to locate it:

    1. Open the Word app on your iPad and check the "Recent" section. Sometimes, files can be found there even if they aren't showing up in OneDrive.
    2. Verify whether you're using a personal OneDrive account or one provided by your school or organization. This can help identify if there are any specific restrictions or settings affecting file visibility.
    3. Try accessing OneDrive through a web browser. Sometimes, documents appear online even if they don't show up in the app.
    4. Check the version history in OneDrive. If an earlier version of the document is available, you might be able to restore it.
    5. If you have OneDrive version history enabled, right-click the document (if found) and select "Version history" to restore a previous version.

I understand how important it is to get the files recovered. However, Since our community is mainly focus on the SharePoint online general and build-in features issues and this specific query might require more specialized assistance, it is important to understand the reporting process. Certain situations should be reported to a specific team at Microsoft, and this can only be initiated by an Office 365 Global Administrator.

The Global Administrator can open a service request with a Microsoft support engineer, who may then escalate the issue to the appropriate team by gathering log information. Through this escalation process, the engineering team can help you to recover the files. This is the standard procedure for addressing such issues.

If you’re an end user and do not have admin rights, please contact to the Global Admin or IT admin from your organization. They can help you create new Support request and escalate the case to appropriate team.

Have a great day and take care! 😊

    Sincerely,

    Naren | Microsoft Community Moderator
