Microsoft Forms file cannot be accessed!

Please help!

I created a survey using Microsoft Forms and collected responses via the survey. I did not access the file for a few weeks, and now I cannot open it at all! It says, "This form doesn't exist." Please make sure the link is correct and try again.

How can it be since I still have the file on the start page, but it throws an error once I click on it?

    Dear Stan,

Thanks for writing back with us and please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in the response.

As per the further updates, it’s strange because the problematic Form is not located in neither in your My Forms nor Recycle bin of your Microsoft Forms because the Form moved to the Recycle bin will not be deleted automatically unless it’s deleted by the user.

Since you are not able to find the problematic Form, I would like to request you to contact the related development team will try to investigate the problem further.

So, I request you to connect with the IT admin of your organization (How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support) and raise a new service request from the Microsoft 365 admin center so that the related development team will connect with you via preferred contact method and investigate the issue further.

Note: We apologize for redirecting you to related development support team because the moderators in this community are limited with the resource for further investigation and to get a quick resolution to your problem, we requested it.

Appreciate your patience with us and have a wonderful day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia

    Dear Stan,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey that the forms or quizzes created in the Microsoft Forms will not be deleted automatically and there is no policy to delete the policies automatically from the users Microsoft Forms as well.

Since the error message when accessing the Form indicates, the Form doesn’t exist from where it’s created, I would like to request you to check the Recycle bin of the Microsoft Forms to see the outcome:

Open your browser> Access https://portal.office.com> Enter your Office 365 account details> Click on the 9 dots at the top left> Click on the Forms> My Forms tab> Scroll down and click on Recycle bin> Find for the problematic Form.

If you are able to find the problematic Form in the Recycle bin of Microsoft Forms, please hover the mouse on the Form and click on the three to restore the Form.

If you are not able to find the Form in the Recycle bin, please check whether you are able to find the Form under the My Forms tab in your Microsoft Forms.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
