I have transferred to new account, and before that, my previous account has shared the owner/admin access to the newest one before being deleted. But once I log in to the new one, I could not access the materials that I shared previously

    Dear Huong _637,

If you just make the new account as a collaborator, it doesn't mean that he owns the form. It just shares the form with another account. The form is still associated with the for creator account. If the form creator account is deleted, the form will be deleted as well and the collaborator will not access the form.

Are MS Form collaborators also co-owners? - Microsoft Community

Unless the collaborator accesses the collaboration link and duplicate it as his own form by clicking on Share as a template.

Then the form becomes the collaborator's form and will not be deleted.

If the collaborator doesn't do that, he will not access the form. If the account is deleted and the collaborator doesn't do that in your environment, the next step is to contact the related team to see whether they can help you recover the form from their side.

We have a specific channel trying to help the users recover their lost data in Microsoft 365.

If you aren't the administrator, I suggest you contact the administrator in your school and let him follow the steps in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn to open a support ticket to our related team as soon as possible.

About admin roles in the Microsoft 365 admin center - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn

How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

The administrator should be able to open the support ticket from Help & support in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Then he can select the Phone support or the Email support as follows.

Thanks for your effort and hope that the data can be soon recovered by our related team.

    Sincerely

Before organization deleted my contractor's account, I already shared the collaborator role of MS Form to my current one. But when I need to retrieve data from the MS Form, it showed the below notifications.

    1. Is it a work account
    2. Ms Form
    3. Notice you mention “transferred to a new account” - I closed my contractor's account and moved to the new permanent employee account

    Hi,Huong _637

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

I have realized that you are experiencing an issue with handling account transfers and privilege sharing, where you have shared the administrator privileges of your old account to a new account, but after switching to the new account, you are still unable to access previously shared files or data.

Understand that this issue is causing you inconvenience. In order to better help you with this issue, I need some additional information:

    1. What types of accounts are the old and new accounts you mentioned? Is it a personal account or a work or school account?
    2. What files or data were you sharing before? Were they Office documents, emails, files in OneDrive or other data?
    3. Notice you mention “transferred to a new account”, what services or data are you referring to that were transferred to the new account? For example, are they Office 365 subscriptions, files stored in OneDrive, or something else?
    4. Are there any error messages that appear when you are unable to access these shared files or data? If so, please provide the details of the error messages as well as screenshot information of the current interface.

By providing this information, we will be able to more accurately diagnose the problem and provide a targeted solution. Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to hearing from you and hope to assist you in resolving this issue as soon as possible.
