Authenticator DOESN'T WORK to update password!

I change my Office 365 password on my laptop. I get 'please open Authenticator App and enter the two digit code below'. I open Authenticator App on iOS.

I can see my Microsoft Entra ID. I can click on it. I can't enter a code anywhere to authenticate. It used to work. Now it doesn't.

My colleague has exact same problem on completely different account.

    During the phone call, press "1" as the company's email user, and then press "1" again for support. You may be asked to provide certain information for verification, such as account or subscription information, organization details, phone number.

    Note: Your Microsoft sales or support engineer can collect information from alternate email addresses to help with the verification process.
