Hi.

What are all the Excel functions included in the recently released Microsoft Office 2024?

Post edit

Microsoft provided an alphabetical list of Excel functions. Which of these Excel functions are available in Microsoft Office 2024?

Thanks for any info.

    Hi, ChunkyDudi

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I've reviewed what you've posted and your replies to the “Miyeon.S” in thread.

If you want to learn about all of Excel 2024's functions, we still recommend that you check out this link to the official support article rather than an external link:

Excel functions (alphabetical) - Microsoft Support

In this link you can quickly find the function according to the alphabetical list and jump to the official support article description of the function. In contrast to external links, this link guarantees that the information you get is officially up-to-date and that Microsoft will not abandon this page even if the information is delayed for a short period of time, which is difficult to do with external links.

All the functions mentioned in this list are supported in Excel 2024.

At the same time, about the thing you mentioned that some functions are not shown on the introduction page to show which versions of Excel are supported (e.g., the XLOOKUP function), you can use this tag to assist in determining this:

    Image

This label represents the version of Excel introduced this function:

    Image

That is, in the case of the XLOOKUP function, for example, it is a function that was introduced with the Microsoft 365 version. It can be used in Excel 2021 and subsequent versions.

If a function is not labeled on the Function List page as to which version it was introduced in, and there is no indication of this on the separate page for this function, then by default this function is available in all versions of Excel mentioned below:

If you need further assistance, please contact me.

    Thanks again, Miyeon.S.

Which of the (512) functions below from ABS to ZTEST are available in Excel 2024?

    https://jpst.it/3X4cw

Like is there a quick list we could refer to instead of searching for them one by one from the article pages?

    Post edit...

If it would be lengthy to enumerate the included functions then maybe another way to ask perhaps is: which of the 512 functions are NOT included in Excel 2024?

XLOOKUP is an improved version of VLOOKUP, as mentioned in this support article.

As mentioned in the support article about XLOOKUP, XLOOKUP is not available for Excel 2016 and Excel 2019, and the XLOOKUP function will appear in newer versions of Excel, that is, Excel 2021 and Excel 2024.

    Best regards
