Hello,

A word document added on a Teams Group is giving this error message when the user tried to modify/add a comment.

The user tried to modify it inside Teams, on the SharePoint site, using Edge and Chrome and the problem persist.

We've tried already to delete it from the Teams Group (SharePoint) and the problem is still there.

I have to add that the Teams Group channel only are 6 people added, they were adding the comments and modifying the document without problems yesterday. Today it did not work anymore.

Any other suggestion about what else can be done to fix this problem? It's important to keep it on a Shared space for collaboration at the same time.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Eduardo Macal

Dear Eduardo Macal,

Good day!! Wish you a happy new year~

As per the description shared, I understand your concern and I would like to convey that I have tested the behavior at my end, where the users in the organization are able to access work on the Office files in the Office apps for the web or Microsoft Teams with saving the changes automatically.

Since you have mentioned the problem happen with the different users in the organization irrespective of the browser, I have checked the service health dashboard at the Microsoft end, where there is no related incident found.

In this situation, I believe there should be some backend issue on your tenant, where the problem should be further investigated by the related development team so that they can collect the related logs via reproducing the problem.

So, I request you to connect with the IT admin of your organization and ask them to raise a new service request from the Microsoft 365 admin center on your behalf, where the related development team will connect with you via preferred contact method to perform further investigation.

Note: Please accept our sincere apologies for redirecting you to related development support team because the moderators in this community are limited with the resource for further investigation and to get a quick resolution to your problem, we requested it.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

Best Regards,

Sophia
