Dear Microsoft

We got e-mail from "maccount@microsoft.com" since 25 Dec 2024

in Subject : Urgent: Please update sync in Forms before January 13, 2025

on 30 Dec 2024 , we already update sync excel with ms form as mail suggest us...

Result of this activites : my end users's excel cannot get updated result from MS Forms

when they try to sync to MS Forms ,

they got error : Can't sync with Forms Please restart Excel or try again later.

***we already restart excel / restart computer but don't work

Our IT Team must be access this excel and sync update excel from MS Forms , for get the lasted result from MS Forms , It doesnot practical that IT Team must be sync excel every time for get the lasted data from MS Forms

why my end users cannot sync Excel with MS Forms after updated excel ref. your e-mail

    The same is affecting my form too. It seems impossible to solve.

    The related Power Automate workflow that it triggers also hangs (at get response details) as a result. I'm running out of ideas to solve this short of asking service users to hand type and email in MS Word forms via templates which is a huge step backwards as we'd then need to rekey their info to be held centrally.

    My error changed to it being the wrong workbook (and still not syncing)

    I have moved the form to a shared teams group which has recreated a copy of the workbook with all prior entries and all is syncing again now... for the time being at least.

    I've tasked colleagues with putting a through test entries through the form and will see what come of that.

    Doing this has broken the related Power Automate steps (triggering emails) so I will need to rebuild those again.

    I have just started getting the "Can't sync with Forms Please restart Excel or try again later" problem too - but only in Desktop excel

    This is a form and spreadsheet that has been working since January and now the form sync doesn't work in Desktop.

    Restarting doesn't help

    Has anyone found any solutions?
