Missing Single Form Response

Hi,

I'm missing a single MS form response. My colleague submitted a response to a form that we've had no issues with, she's submitted responses successfully before and today she submitted one but it is nowhere to be found. I need this form response ASAP. Could someone guide me on how I could retrieve it or understand what could've happened. My colleague assures me the response was submitted and she saw the "Submission Successful" page after submitting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey that when the responders submit the response on the Form or Quiz, the submitted response will be shown on the responses tab of the Form or Quiz automatically.

So, I request you access the View Responses tab of the problematic Form and see whether you are able to find the response submitted by the responder.

If there is no success in the finding the response, can you please double-check whether the problematic Form is recording the new responses submitted on the Form? You can submit a new response on the problematic Form and see whether the submitted response is recorded.

If yes but the response submitted by the responder is missing, I would like to request you try access the Excel workbook connected with the problematic Form and see whether the response is able to be found:

Open the problematic Form in the browser> View Responses> Click on the Excel workbook and see whether the missing response is present.

If still there is no success, then I would like to request you to contact the IT admin of your organization (How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support) and ask the perform the Audit check with the activity “Submitted response” to see whether it can find the log of submitted responses by the responder. If nothing was success, we apologize and request you to connect with the related development team for further investigation on the missing response on the Microsoft Form. So, please connect with the IT admin of your organization and ask them to raise a new service request from Microsoft 365 admin center so that the related development team will connect with you via preferred contact method and investigate the issue further.
