Hi!

I got a new device, and now i’m having issues using the authenticator app. I have 3 different emails with 2 different issues. My 2 work emails just asks me to put in the authenticator app code when resetting, wich i’m obviously not able to do since the app is not working. And my personal email, I am told that i’ll recieve an email with a password but the email never shows up, not in junk mail either. I need help resetting these accounts so that I can use the authenticator app on my new device. This is urgent, as i’m not being able to get into my work email at all so please help asap.

    Hello, christina mossige

Thank you for your post in the Microsoft community.

I understand that you've run into issues logging into your work account, and I understand how you feel.

You mentioned that you got a new device. It's possible that the authenticator on your old device is blocking the authenticator on your new device.

You can try the following steps:

Since the issue is related to Microsoft Authenticator, if you need further assistance, I sincerely recommend you post on Microsoft Learn.

More users are posting these problems there and there are experts out there who may offer more professional solutions.

Here's the link: Microsoft Authenticator - Microsoft Q&A. (Please note that the website is English.)
