azurewebsites.net issue - Your connection to this site isn't secure ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Some of our users can no longer access our API hosted on azurewebsites.net.

When I go to https://<our-app-service-name>.azurewebsites.net/swagger/index.html I see the Swagger-generated page, but when some other visit the same URL they receive a response that the site uses an unsupported protocol:-

Your connection to the site isn't secure
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Why is this?

Suspect the ones that work are answered from cache - I got here, as we've started seeing the same issue start "at some point" in the last 24 hours :(

@Iain Harris @Rowland Shaw Thanks for reaching out and reporting the issue. I've reached out to our internal teams to check on this and will let you know as I have more details. Meanwhile, could you please confirm which region your apps are deployed to? And the SKU they are on?

Can confirm that all .azurewebsites.net https requests are failing across the board.

I'm having this issue in the UK - all https requests made to any *.azurewebsites.net domain from multiple platforms failing with ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

@Iain Harris @Rowland Shaw The issue seems to be resolved for some customers now. Could you please recheck if you are able to access your apps again as usual?

@Iain Harris @Rowland Shaw We had gotten similar reports from other customers today about this error. It appears that this was caused due to an ISP issue in the region, and is now resolved. More details here: https://twitter.com/ealexhudson/status/1434921204289351683
