I am very positive that your Excel does not have "Switch Modes" option in Toolbar and did not watch my Video until Finish.

What I mean Dark mode is in Excel Dark Mode (Switch Modes Toolbar Menu) NOT Windows Dark Mode

I have tried this on different Computer, all have the same problem

I did watch your video, and I do have the Switch Modes button when I set my Office theme to Black. So, I don't understand why you suggest that I don't.

Anyway, I can't help you as I can't replicate your problem and have no intention to dive into dark mode settings any further. I'm old-school and avoid dark mode altogether and prefer dark text on a light background rather than vice versa. And when I get tired of looking at a screen, I take a break or reduce its brightness.

ok, can I see the proof ?, screenshot of your screen will be ok

because I try this on many computers with same problem

if no proof, than I consider your answer misleading for me and many others

and video, i know your not watching because only 2 views, and it's all me

suggesting using light mode not solving problem.

as of now I consider this is a bug in Microsoft Excel

    version Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2504 Build 16.0.18730.20122) 64-bit

    thank you for your time.

Misleading?: It's not. I mere explained that I can not further help you as I can not replicate the problem on my system.

Video: I did watch it twice. Your counter is misleading you.

    Good bye!
