Is there any way to remove outlook automatic rules suggestions/prompts in Outlook for Mac? I.E. when it suggests that all messages from John Smith be moved to a John Smith folder away from inbox?

What's the version of your Outlook for Mac(Outlook>About Outlook)? And are you working with New Outlook for Mac?
Did it occur on any specific senders only? If so, are there any differences between him and others.According to my tests on Outlook for Mac Version 16.52 (21080801), I have tried to create a folder named "Jade" and received some messages from my test account-jade for testing, but it wouldn't display any suggestions about creating relevant rules in this case.
So to further confirm what function is related to your issue and turn off it, please provide us with more information about it(For example, the steps to reproduce the problem, the screenshot of the prompt etc.)

Has your original issue about rule prompt been resolved now? If not, it's recommended to provide us with more relevant information above to further analyze it(such as detailed Outlook client version, relevant screenshot etc.).
To have no rules at all in Microsoft outlook on mac devices?
You could disable the rule via switch the option before it or delete the rule directly(Messages>Rule)
