Issue with adding payment method for Microsoft 365 Admin Center

Hello,

I recently created an account through Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub and redeemed the Microsoft 365 Business Premium plan. However, when I try to add a payment method in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to activate the subscription, I receive the following error:

"We couldn't validate your address. Please ensure the address you've entered is correct."

I've double-checked the address details, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this?

    To resolve the issue of adding payment method for Microsoft 365 Admin Center, you can try the following solutions: 

    1. You could try check Regional Settings: Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region in Windows. Ensure the region matches the country of your payment method.
    2. You can also refer to the following this articles : Manage payment methods for Microsoft business accounts

    Need to note: 

    If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you need to raise a ticket to the billing team through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This is the most effective way to get specialized assistance for billing-related issues. 

    The support team over there has higher permission than us to investigate the issue from background, they have more resource and correct escalation channel in handling this kind of issues. This would be a more efficient way in handling the case for you.

    Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the steps did not resolve the issue, and I can't find the option to create a 'New Service Request'.

    Hi, just following up on this issue — I’m still unable to add a payment method for Microsoft 365.

    I believe my account might not be fully activated, and that’s likely why I can’t add a payment method or see any option to raise a support ticket. I'm stuck in a loop — I can’t activate my Microsoft subscription without a payment method, but I can’t add a payment method without the account being activated.

    Even the email I’m using for this account isn’t working properly — I can’t send or receive emails through it. I’ve tried multiple times, but nothing is going through.

    Details:

    • Country/region of my Microsoft account: Saudi Arabia
    • Type of payment method I tried to add: visa, mastercard and american express
    • Exact error message: "We couldn't validate your address. Please ensure the address you've entered is correct." and "Check that the details in all fields are correct or try a different card."
    • What I’ve tried:
      • Using different browsers and devices
      • Clearing cookies and cache
      • Using different users

    I really hope someone from Microsoft support can see this and reach out, because I currently have no way to contact support or fix the issue myself. Thank you.

    Since you are unable to create a new service request in the admin center, we recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support. As forum moderators, we don’t have access to the detailed billing system needed to troubleshoot this effectively due to privacy and security constraints. To have the Billing/Commerce team support you on products and licenses issue, I strongly recommend the Global Admin should create a service request with Microsoft support to get advanced technical assistance and diagnostics.
