    Hi Helena Paschoal Atanasio,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A!

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that Windows Hello was working perfectly on your Lenovo Yoga, but it has recently stopped functioning. I understand how frustrating it could be when you've already tried some of the suggested solutions, but the issue persists.

To assist you further, could you reconfirm with me whether you are using Windows version 10 or 11 (just to make sure as I see the solution image you attached is for Windows 10)? Also, since this seems to have happened recently, do you remember when it started and if there were any system changes or updates around that time?

You can check by going to Settings > Windows Update > Update history (or even go further into Uninstall updates). If there are any updates that seem to be around the time your issue appeared, you can try uninstalling them > restarting the PC and check Windows Hello again. Example:

Conversely, it's also possible that this is happening because your Windows isn't up to date:

    • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.
    • Restart your device after updating to see if Windows Hello get back to normal

If the issue persists, you can also refer to Windows Hello common issues and troubleshooting tips - Microsoft Support

1 - Check Windows Biometric Service

    • Press **Win + R **> type services.msc > Enter
    • Locate Windows Biometric Service > Ensure it’s Running and set to Automatic

    2 - Reinstall biometrics drivers:

    • Open Device Manager > right-click your Biometric devices (e.g. Control Vault w/ …) > Uninstall. User's image
    • Restart your PC > Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.

If none of these steps work, consider creating a new user profile to test if the issue is account specific. Let me know if you'd like help with any of these steps or if the issue persists. I'm here to help!

    Warm Regards,
