    Hi @Hussain Ally

Thank you for your reply and for providing detailed screenshots to clarify the issue.

I understand the problem you're facing, and based on the information and images you've shared, it appears that the issue is related to the connection between your Galaxy Buds Pro and your Windows 11 PC, rather than being caused by a Microsoft product (like Microsoft Teams).

Although this particular issue falls slightly outside the scope of my official support responsibilities, I genuinely want to assist you as much as I can to help you find a solution.

I came across a case from about two months ago where a user experienced the same issue on Windows 11. You may want to check out the troubleshooting steps posted by a Samsung Moderator, which were marked as the solution: Solved: Re: Buds 3 Pro microphone connectivity issue with ... - Samsung Community - 2974573

    Hi

I tried the above but still not working. I have added the two images showing that it only connects for music and as such the mic option is not showing up. Sometimes when i disconnect the device, restart the laptop and then pair and connect again, it works for voice but within a day revers back to the issue.

    Hi @Hussain Ally

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand this kind of issue can be quite inconvenient, especially when you're trying to use your Galaxy Buds Pro for calls. I'm here to help, and I’ll do my best to support you through this. To better understand the issue, could you please clarify:

    • What operating system are you using on your laptop? (Windows, macOS, etc.)
    • Have you tested the Galaxy Buds Pro microphone in other applications besides Teams (e.g., Zoom, Skype, or a voice recorder)?
    • Are you connecting the earbuds via Bluetooth only, or are you using any additional software?
    • Is the microphone not working in the Teams desktop app only, or also in Teams Web

Some users have reported a similar issue where the buds say “connected for music” but don’t connect for voice/audio. If you're using Windows 11, you can try the following steps:

    • Open Windows 11 Settings
    • Select Bluetooth & devices from the left panel.
    • Click Devices
    • Scroll down and click More devices and printer settings (this opens the Control Panel).
    • Right-click your Bluetooth device and select Properties
    • Go to the Services tab and enable Hands-Free Telephony

    • Click Apply, then OK
    • Finally, go to Sound Settings and set the Buds as the default communication device (not just the default audio device).

Note:  Please also make sure you select the correct device in Microsoft Teams.

    • Go to Settings → Devices
    • Under Audio devices, select “Galaxy Buds3 Pro Hands-Free AG Audio”
    • Under Microphone, also select “Galaxy Buds3 Pro Hands-Free AG Audio”

    • Try making a test call to check the setup.

Please understand that our initial response may not resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Feel free to share any updates or additional details. The more context you provide, the better we can assist you!
