Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi @Bill Seward,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Community.
We want to give you some details that Old Outlook stores signatures locally on your PC. Each signature includes .htm, .rtf, .txt files and a folder for images/logos if any. Otherwise, New Outlook stores signatures in the cloud, tied to your Microsoft account. This means you cannot import signature files directly from Old to New Outlook.
Therefore, the most efficient and simplest way we suggest is to copy your signatures directly from Old to New Outlook:
- Open both the classic and new Outlook apps side by side.
- In classic Outlook, go to File > Options > Mail > Signatures > Select the signature you want to move and copy it.
- In the new Outlook, go to Settings > Accounts > Signatures > add New signature, paste the one you copied into the editor.
Hope this information will help. If there’s anything else I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
