- Do you have N1500 or B1500?
- Do you even have Realtek audio chipset or CMedia audio chipset? This is a 2022 pandemic computer model, the whole world ran out of toilet paper. So some of the computers come with realtek audio chipset and other computers come with CMedia audio chipset. If you have CMedia audio chipset, then that's why realtek audio console doesn't work. You have to install CMedia audio driver and the CMedia audio configuration app.
Trouble with Realtek Audio Console and detection of headset
I had to reinstall Windows 11 to fix update porblems on my Asus ExpertBook.
Windoes got all the drivers from the net and all seemed to work fine...
BUT then I found trouble with the "Realtek Audio Console".
When I launch it it open a short blink and the closes.
Same happends when I pug something in to the 3,5" jack.
And the headset I pug in is not discovered either.
Have to be plugged in when I boot the system to be discovered.
- Why does the "Realtek Audio Console" crash when opening?
- Why does the system not detect when a 3,5" s plugged in?

2025-09-02T19:27:25.9433333+00:00 Thank you for the information. I would suggest to uninstall the audio console if you are still able to search, and download the software, then reinstall.

2025-09-03T21:23:28.4633333+00:00 That's correct. The HDMI audio is dependent on your display/GPU drivers. I would suggest trying to reinstall the graphic drivers from ASUS (Above link) then, please let me know how it goes. If issues still persist, we can try the official drivers from Intel.
