When I select multiple rows and use 'copy Visible cells' option, the pasted result does not match the columns. Single row copy does not have this issue.

How to copy multiple rows with 'copy Visible cells' option (ie: only copy rows that are not hidden)?

    Hello,

I am using the standard built-into Excel 'Hide' function to hide rows. I have provided a copy of the results I am getting and you are telling me that the function works when I show you evidence that it doesn't. I just want to know how to make this copy of Visible rows work.

    Hi @Paul Spisar,

Thank you for reviewing the spreadsheets. and I appreciate your patience. I also want to sincerely apologize if my earlier response caused any confusion. Let me guide you through the correct steps to copy only visible rows in your spreadsheet:

    1. Select the Entire Range (Including Hidden Rows)  Highlight the full block of rows you want to copy, even if some rows are hidden.
    2. Activate “Visible Cells Only”
    • Press Alt + ; to select only the visible cells.
    • Alternatively, go to the Home tab, click on Find & Select, choose Go To Special, and then select Visible cells only.
    1. Copy and Paste Carefully
    • Press Ctrl + C to copy the selected visible cells.
    • Go to the destination worksheet.
    • Select the top-left cell where you want to paste.
    • Press Ctrl + V to paste.

Important Notes  Avoid selecting entire rows by clicking the row numbers on the left. This may include hidden cells and cause misalignment.  Instead, select only the cell range (for example, A2:G20) that contains the visible data you want to copy.

Please try these updated steps and let me know if you run into any issues at a specific step. I'm happy to assist further.
