I did not pay nor solicit for the new Outlook. I am getting fed up with trying to install the classic design all day long.

You are causing me much anxiety and stress. I am just fed up with changes you have made to this application.

New Outlook for Windows is free.

Something that seems to work for some people is to re-install Classic Outlook. See:

If nothing is working for you, I would suggest that you start a new thread using the "Ask a question" button at the top of this page to create a new Question and include the details for your specific problem. This provides much higher visibility to your issue than commenting on an old post, which is only seen by people who are already following this question.

PLEASE JUST LEAVE CLASSIC OUTLOOK ALONE. iT WORKS FINE AND i HAVE NOW LOST AN ENTIRE DAY TRYING TO RETREIVE EMAIL. THE STEPS IN YOUR DIRECTIONS DO NOT WORK. THERE IS NO BOX TO TOGGLE BACK TO CLASSIC. PLEASE STOP CHANGING WHAT IS WORKING JUST FINE.!!! @#$%^&

Not sure which directions you are trying to follow. But if your problem is that there is no toggle to revert to Classic Outlook, there are other ways.

Use Classic Outlook, not New Outlook

If you can't get any of the suggested fixes to work for you I would suggest you start a new thread using the "Ask a question" button at the top of this page to create a new Question and list the things you have already tried and what your results were.

If you're using the New Outlook for Windows and want to switch back to the Classic Outlook, here are a few ways to do it, itending on your setup and organization policies:

Option 1: Use the toggle or Help menu

If available, you can switch back directly from the app:

Open New Outlook.

In the top-right corner, look for the toggle labeled "New Outlook".

Turn it off → Outlook will restart in the Classic version.

Go to Help > Go to Classic Outlook from the top menu bar.

Confirm the switch when prompted.

If you don’t see these options, your organization may have disabled the ability to switch back.

Option 2: Uninstall New Outlook and reinstall Classic Outlook

If the toggle is missing or disabled:

Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
