Hi there,

I created a folder on Friday under my inbox but now I can't seem to find it or any emails that were in that folder. The folder was called "files." Could you please assist me with this?

Thank you,

Neena

    Hi @Dhaliwal, Neena

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Community.
According to your issue, we kindly suggest you can try some steps to locate the missing "files" folder and its emails:

    1.Expand All Folders

    • In the Folder Pane, click the small triangle next to Inbox to expand all subfolders.
    • Scroll carefully, sometimes folders get nested under other folders by accident.

    2. Search for an Email You Know Was in the Folder

    • Use the Search bar at the top.
    • Try searching keywords from emails you know were in that folder.

    3. Check Deleted Items

    • Go to the Deleted Items folder.
    • Look for the "files" folder or any emails that might have been in it.
    • If found, right-click and choose Move Folder > Inbox.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, you can try workaround and share us more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thank you for your understanding and corporation. Looking forward to your response.
